Kevin LaGrandeur is from a family of musicians and has been singing in choirs since the age of 10, starting as a second soprano. He’s sung more recently as a tenor and baritone, having performed with many different choir directors, including Jester Hairston and Andy Williams, and in many different contexts, including international choral concerts and competitions such as the annual Welsh International Eisteddfod and the Hungarian Bela Bartok Festival. When younger, he did some solo work, including at the Welsh competition, at weddings, and in studios. His grandmother, trained at a conservatory, tried to teach him piano, but he was too uncooperative, and she gave up.
