Gwen Gilligan has been singing with chorale groups since college but one of her more notable achievements was being one of the founding members of the Sangre de Christo chorale when she was 28 years old. She stopped singing for a time when her children were born, then joined the Santa Fe Women’s Ensemble with whom she sang for 38 years. She came back to the Sangres in 2023 and is thrilled to be singing with George and the whole organization again.
When she’s not singing, she has spent her professional life as a long time real estate broker in Santa Fe. She has two children and is lucky enough to have one of them live in Santa Fe and the other in Albuquerque with their families. She has two adult granddaughters and also has 11 year old grand twins, a girl and a boy, in the Albuquerque contingent.
